Position summary

This position leads global operations benchmarking activities and supports the Global Operations Efficiency Team in delivering projects effectively. The role is focused on driving process improvements, monitoring worldwide performance indicators, and applying proven methods such as Statistical Process Control, Lean, and Six Sigma to strengthen operational performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, document, and maintain global performance metrics.
  • Encourage proper use of information in line with benchmarking standards.
  • Launch, track, and support the delivery of benchmarking initiatives.
  • Spot chances to improve products or lower costs by applying knowledge of fabrication, tooling, production machinery, assembly techniques, quality standards, and product design.
  • Use statistical techniques to identify the root causes of failures and suggest improvements to designs, tolerances, or processes.
  • Offer technical support and manufacturing-related expertise.
  • Introduce new approaches and methods that enhance current operations.
  • Work closely with technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative personnel, and fellow engineers.

Requirements
