Housekeeping Shift Leader

Role overview

This position sits within the housekeeping and laundry function at a hotel in Doha. The role is focused on keeping guest rooms and public areas clean, presentable, and ready to support a memorable guest stay. The job is hands-on and requires active movement throughout the shift.

What you will do

You will help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property by carrying out a variety of housekeeping tasks. This includes responding to guest needs, replenishing housekeeping carts, cleaning rooms, and taking care of shared spaces. The aim is to make every area of the hotel feel welcoming and well maintained.

• Handle a broad range of housekeeping duties across the hotel.
• Support guest requests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Restock carts and supplies as needed.
• Clean guest rooms and public areas to the expected standard.
• Carry out other related housekeeping tasks when assigned.
• Contribute to an environment that supports a strong guest experience.

Work standards and expectations

Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies, protecting confidential information, and consistently meeting quality standards. You will also be expected to present yourself professionally, including your uniform, grooming, and communication.

The work is physically active and may involve standing, sitting, or walking for long periods. The role also requires regular lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
