Housekeeper Towanda

Role overview

This full-time housekeeping role is based in Towanda and follows a Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week and benefits. The position focuses on keeping patient and non-clinical areas clean, sanitary, and ready for use, while delivering dependable service to both internal teams and outside customers.

What you'll do

• Carry out routine cleaning and disinfection in inpatient, outpatient, and office settings to maintain a safe and aseptic environment.
• Handle waste disposal in line with local, state, and federal rules.
• Keep equipment, carts, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe to use, with adequate supply levels maintained.
• Flag facility problems such as burnt-out lights, damaged walls, leaking faucets, EVS equipment issues, and any regulatory or safety concerns to management.
• Use Epic Rovers and Vocera tools to support communication and help complete tasks on time.
• Follow annual training requirements and take part in ongoing training on departmental policies and procedures.
• Contribute to team meetings, working groups, and committees when needed to improve department processes.
• Help orient and train newly hired staff in assigned areas.

Experience and education

No prior experience is needed for this role. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
