About the role

Homestead Healthcare is hiring a Housekeeper for its Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Belleville, MI. This full-time position is an important part of the care team, focused on keeping resident living spaces clean, safe, and comfortable while contributing to a positive daily environment for residents. Experience in a memory care setting is recommended.

What you will do

• Maintain resident apartments by mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Work cooperatively with residents, coworkers, and family members to support daily goals.
• Use cleaning chemicals carefully and keep them away from resident areas.
• Handle supplies and equipment responsibly to avoid waste.
• Interact with residents in a respectful and dignified manner at all times.
• Help prevent accidents and injuries by following safe work practices.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor or executive director.

What we are looking for

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Residential cleaning experience is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities effectively.
• A positive, punctual, and dependable work attitude.
