What you will do

• Carry out small to medium maintenance and repair work for residential and commercial assignments, typically lasting from two hours to two days
• Discuss job needs with customers, explain scope and pricing, and help set clear expectations
• Deliver a consistently positive customer experience that encourages repeat business
• Work independently and manage your own day-to-day tasks
• Collect payments from customers
• Use required tools and technology to complete assignments
• Record job details in line with the company’s standard process
• Wear appropriate PPE and shoe coverings to protect customer homes

Minimum requirements

• Reside within the local service area
• Bring at least 8 years of paid handyman experience
• Have your own tools
• Be eligible to drive the company vehicle
• Be willing to complete a background check and driving record check
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Be comfortable working at heights and overhead for long periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep the company vehicle in good condition

Preferred trade experience

You should have solid capability in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom upgrades, kitchen upgrades, interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs of minor or major scope, general plumbing and electrical work where permitted by law, floor installation and refinishing, and familiarity with building codes.
