Position Overview
The GMB Technician role at New River Valley Community Services is a hands-on facility cleaning position based in Blacksburg, Virginia. The person in this job will operate both independently and alongside the team to help maintain clean, well-kept facilities. Work is coordinated with fellow crew members and the Program Lead to complete assigned tasks while meeting the organization’s quality expectations.
Compensation
This role starts at an hourly rate of $13.78. The organization also notes that newly hired employees who speak more than one language may be considered for additional pay.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Applicants may also qualify through a mix of education and work experience that is comparable to a high school diploma.
- Substantial background in commercial cleaning is also considered relevant.
