Role overview

The General Manager is responsible for the store’s overall results and for leading its daily operations. This role sets the tone for performance, shapes the commercial direction and ensures the store runs smoothly in a busy, high-volume environment.

You will lead through people by strengthening the management team, developing colleagues and creating a workplace where priorities are clear, support is strong and the team can perform well even under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of store performance and deliver targets for sales, productivity and customer service.
• Shape and execute the commercial plan using KPI data, store insight and customer demand.
• Lead, coach and grow the management team, strengthening capability, motivation and future succession.
• Ensure a strong customer experience through high service standards and effective leadership on the shop floor.
• Manage operational and administrative routines while maintaining compliance and consistency.
• Oversee stock movement, product availability, replenishment and store presentation to support sales performance.
• Keep the store safe, tidy and well managed, with full attention to Health & Safety requirements.
• Represent Inditex sustainability initiatives and build them into everyday working practices.
