Role overview

PIL Logistics is seeking a General Manager for China to drive the growth and scale-up of the business in one of its most strategic markets. This position carries full profit-and-loss leadership and is responsible for advancing expansion, strengthening logistics offerings, and developing a high-performing organization.

What the role will cover

• Steering growth and profitability in line with the company’s long-term direction
• Broadening the business across freight forwarding, contract logistics, project logistics, and 4PL
• Creating and pursuing new commercial opportunities across the logistics value chain
• Leading both commercial and operational activities across China, with headquarters in Shanghai

Candidate profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain roles
• Proven success in business development and leading teams
• Strong familiarity with the China market
• Practical, hands-on leadership style with strong commercial judgment
