Role Overview
This is a contract opportunity for a Frontend Developer focused on Vue.js, working remotely from the United States. The engagement is expected to span 10 to 40 hours per week and offers hourly compensation in the range of $30 to $70.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and support robust, scalable frontend features using Vue.js and React.
- Partner with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes and visual concepts into polished, mobile-friendly web interfaces.
- Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries that can be leveraged across projects.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and compatibility across browsers.
- Review code, contribute engineering best practices, and guide teammates when needed.
- Coordinate with backend developers to connect APIs and deliver a seamless end-to-end product experience.
Required Experience and Technical Stack
- Deep working knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6 and newer language features.
- Hands-on professional experience developing and maintaining applications with Vue.js.
- Practical production experience using React.
- Strong command of CSS and SCSS, along with responsive layout techniques.
- Comfort using modern frontend tooling such as Webpack and Git.
