Job Overview

Salayel Hospitality is looking for a seasoned, guest-oriented Front Office Supervisor to help run day-to-day front desk activities and create a consistently strong guest experience. In this role, you will support the front office team, keep arrivals and departures running smoothly, resolve guest issues promptly, and ensure the team follows the company’s service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee routine front office functions, including reception, guest services, and concierge support.
  • Keep guest check-in and check-out processes efficient and well organized.
  • Respond to guest complaints, feedback, and special requests in a professional and timely way.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with scheduling, training, and evaluating team performance.
  • Ensure daily work aligns with hotel policies, SOPs, brand expectations, and UAE regulations.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to provide a smooth guest journey.
  • Track room status, VIP arrivals, and any special guest needs.
  • Prepare shift summaries, handover notes, and operational reports.
  • Oversee cash handling, support billing accuracy, and assist with night audit tasks when needed.
  • Promote polished grooming, professionalism, and proper service etiquette across the team.

Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in front office or guest services in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Previous work as a supervisor or team leader is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of front office operations and PMS platforms such as Opera or similar systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and people skills.
  • Good ability to resolve issues and manage guest situations effectively.
  • Willingness to work rotating schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UAE hospitality standards and customer service practices.
