About the Company
Carhartt WIP is the brand operated by WIP Trading AG, a Swiss group that began in the early 1990s as the European license holder and distributor for the US workwear label Carhartt. Since then, the company has built its own Carhartt WIP collections inspired by the original American designs.

For the German subsidiary based in Weil am Rhein, the company is looking for a Financial Controller (m/w/d) as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of controlling activities and keep improving the controlling framework over time.
- Contribute actively to budgeting and forecasting processes and help further develop them.
- Carry out variance analyses and translate the findings into practical recommendations.
- Create, refine, and monitor KPI dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Establish consistent, data-driven standards for reporting and analysis.
- Act as a sparring partner for departments on business and finance-related questions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Handle cost accounting for sales channels and maintain and develop it further.
Required Profile
- A completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/finance, or an equivalent qualification, is required.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling are expected.
- Strong command of MS Office is necessary; experience with MS Power BI and MS Dynamics Business Central is a plus.
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written, are required.
- A strong understanding of business relationships and a high affinity for numbers are important for this role.
- You should work proactively, in a structured way, and with a high level of independence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with different teams on equal footing are essential.
