F&B Hostess

About the Role

This position is part of a food and beverage team focused on creating a guest experience that feels personal, polished, and memorable. The role supports smooth restaurant operations and helps ensure that every interaction contributes to a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

The host/hostess helps coordinate the flow of service and assists with the everyday tasks that keep the outlet operating efficiently. This may include preparing tables, supporting kitchen activity, maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, and restocking needed supplies. The role also involves delivering courteous service and helping make each guest interaction feel seamless.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role that requires being on your feet for long periods and moving between standing, sitting, and walking. The work may involve navigating sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The position also requires the ability to read and confirm menu details, and to handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reaching overhead and below the knees, along with bending, twisting, stooping, and pulling, may also be part of the job.

Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe work environment, following company procedures, meeting quality expectations, and presenting a professional appearance and manner of communication at all times. Other reasonable duties may be assigned as needed to support the business and guest experience.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior experience in food and beverage is an advantage, but no previous related work experience is required. No supervisory background or license/certification is needed.
