Role overview
U-Haul is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Facility Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming location in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role supports the customer experience by keeping the facility presentable and operating smoothly. New hires may be eligible for a bonus, and there is also a same-day pay option for eligible employees.

Key responsibilities
- Clean storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other shared areas by sweeping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and mopping
- Remove and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor cleaning supplies, keep inventory up to date, and request replenishments when needed
- Take on additional tasks as assigned
Minimum qualifications
- Strong organizational ability
- Open to learning new tasks and procedures
- Self-driven and able to work independently
Work environment
This position may involve moderate hazards or discomforts, including working near moving machinery or parts and around fumes or irritating chemicals. Protective equipment such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical requirements
The role can require extended periods of standing, moving around outdoors, reaching items at different heights, and handling equipment that may weigh at least 50 lbs, with or without assistance.
