About the Company

Hadrian is developing autonomous manufacturing facilities designed to help aerospace and defense customers produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships much faster and at a lower cost. By bringing together advanced software, robotics, and integrated manufacturing capabilities, the company is reshaping how critical components are made in the United States.

The company is expanding quickly with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot site expected to add 350 jobs. It is also growing its future hiring plans, launching Hadrian Maritime to support naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service approach that provides complete systems rather than isolated parts. Hadrian is supported by investors such as T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz.

Role Overview

Hadrian is looking for a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the Chief of Staff, External Affairs. This person will work closely with the Chief of Staff in day-to-day operations, help drive key business priorities, and provide occasional personal assistance when required. The position calls for strong discretion, sound decision-making, excellent organization, and the ability to stay composed in a demanding, fast-moving environment. Prior experience on Capitol Hill or in a legislative setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex calendars involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including hybrid travel plans and external offsite logistics.
  • Serve as a first line of review for incoming requests and communications, helping prioritize and route them appropriately.
  • Create and organize presentations, reports, and internal communication materials.
  • Manage preparation for internal meetings, including agendas and follow-up actions after meetings.
  • Plan and support executive and external onsite events.
  • Provide occasional personal support to help expand executive capacity.
  • Lead special initiatives and process improvements that raise leadership efficiency.
  • Respond quickly to changing priorities and make practical decisions in uncertain situations.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 to 7+ years of experience supporting senior leaders or executives.
  • Self-directed with strong initiative and a willingness to take on new and changing challenges.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management ability.
  • Trusted judgment and strong confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate needs before they become issues.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Able to manage several priorities at once without missing details.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, and other modern productivity tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining document and records systems is an added advantage.

Compensation

The targeted base salary for this position is between $125,000 and $140,000. Final pay may differ depending on experience, performance, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, location, and business needs.

Full-Time Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Relocation assistance may be offered in certain cases based on business needs.
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Equity participation.

ITAR Eligibility

Because the role is subject to U.S. export control rules, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or otherwise eligible to receive the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
