Overview

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is Qatar’s first national applied university. It provides applied bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as certificate and diploma programs across multiple disciplines. Its academic portfolio includes more than 50 programs spanning Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, Business Management, Computing and Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Continuing and Professional Education.

Role Summary

This position calls for an academic leader with deep expertise in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a closely related field. The appointee will be expected to oversee complex academic activity, strengthen institutional quality, and advance teaching, learning, research, and partnerships with industry.

Qualifications and Experience

The role requires an earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate discipline such as Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science. The candidate should bring at least 10 years of experience in a comparable leadership position within a relevant academic field.

Applicants must have experience in internationally recognized higher education settings and a solid grasp of international academic standards and accreditation systems. Prior exposure to culturally diverse workplaces is highly preferred.

Language Requirement

Strong command of both written and spoken English and Arabic is mandatory.
