Role Overview
This position is for an Electrical Equipment Engineer working onsite in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, within a full-time setup. The role centers on electrical system design, equipment sizing, vendor coordination, and support across project execution for plant and power evacuation applications.
Core Work
- Apply strong working knowledge of power evacuation systems, high-voltage equipment, and plant engineering standards such as IEC, NEC, and NEMA.
- Carry out electrical system design activities and equipment sizing with hands-on involvement.
- Coordinate with vendors and review their technical inputs during project delivery.
- Prepare technical specifications, sizing calculations, and bill of materials for electrical packages.
- Examine vendor documentation and technical bids, and provide support during quality checks and commissioning.
- Work with electrical equipment including generators, busducts, generator circuit breakers, transformers, MV and LV switchgear, DC and UPS systems, VFDs, motors, and cable systems.
Tools and Software
The role expects familiarity with engineering and design tools such as DIALux, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, EPLAN, SP3D, and E3D.
Location
The job is based in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, India. Other listed work locations include Bangalore, Mysore, Hubballi, and Noida.
Qualification
A B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
