Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Drupal Developer to work from Mumbai on building, enhancing, and supporting Drupal-driven web applications. This role calls for solid experience in Drupal architecture, customization, and development of secure, scalable, and efficient digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, support, and continuously improve Drupal websites and applications.
- Develop custom modules, themes, and system integrations while following Drupal development standards.
- Work with core Drupal capabilities such as Entity API, Plugin API, Cache API, and configuration management.
- Use the service container and dependency injection to create reusable, maintainable components.
- Set up and refine Views, content models, and workflow processes.
- Develop and use REST APIs for integration with external systems.
- Implement custom functionality using Drupal events and hooks.
- Handle data migration tasks through the Drupal Migrate API.
- Configure and improve Drupal search features.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues in a timely manner.
- Partner with designers, QA specialists, and project managers to deliver projects smoothly.
- Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and compliance with coding standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on Drupal development experience.
- Practical experience with Entity API, Service Container, Dependency Injection, Plugin API, Cache API, Configuration Management, Views, REST APIs, Events, Hooks, Migrate API, and Search.
- Background in custom module and theme development.
- Good working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general web development practices.
- Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication abilities.
Preferred Profile
- Exposure to large-scale Drupal implementations.
- Understanding of performance tuning and security-oriented development.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods.
