Demand Planner

Role overview

KaziBora is supporting the search for a Demand Planner for a fast-growing, well-regarded business in the building materials distribution sector. What you will do

• Create reliable demand projections by reviewing past sales patterns, market movements, and business intelligence inputs.
• Track stock positions and keep inventory at the right levels so products remain available without creating unnecessary surplus or obsolete items.
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to coordinate demand plans with supply plans.
• Review how forecasts perform over time and suggest ways to improve planning accuracy.
• Compile reports on demand planning, inventory status, and stock performance for management review.
• Watch inventory flows closely and flag any risks related to shortages or overstock situations.
• Contribute to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) by sharing demand insights and practical recommendations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, inventory control, supply chain planning, or another closely related role.
• Strong ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and solve problems effectively.
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills, with ERP exposure and familiarity with demand planning tools considered an advantage.
