Role Overview
The company is seeking a Data Scientist who can design and improve scalable data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and advanced data initiatives. This position centers on data modeling, ETL/ELT architecture, automation, and making data easy to use across BI, analytics, and application ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
- Design and refine data models, data lakes, and data warehouse systems.
- Automate pipeline execution and deployment using CI/CD methods.
- Track data job performance and resolve failures or bottlenecks.
- Support data access for BI platforms, dashboards, analytics teams, and APIs.
- Handle structured and semi-structured data formats such as CSV, JSON, and Parquet.
- Improve data solutions for scalability, reporting, and analytical use cases.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to address business and analytical needs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data engineering fundamentals, ETL/ELT design, and data modeling.
- Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Solid SQL capability for transformation and analysis tasks.
- Experience building and operating data lakes and data warehouses.
- Comfort working with both structured and semi-structured datasets.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and pipeline automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and business teams.
- Added advantage: familiarity with Java or Scala.
- Added advantage: experience supporting BI, analytics, or API-based data solutions.
- Added advantage: exposure to cloud-based data platforms.
- Added advantage: experience with high-volume data processing and optimization.
