What you will do

In this position, you will apply mathematical and statistical methods along with modern technologies to analyze very large datasets and produce insights that support network strategy, engagement planning, provider performance, and consumer experience improvements. You will design, build, validate, and deliver analytical models, reporting solutions, and algorithms that help solve business problems and forecast potential outcomes.

Your work will include exploring structured and unstructured data, running advanced risk and decision analyses, identifying patterns, and recommending practical solutions. You will also partner with business stakeholders to understand goals, define analytical approaches, and develop predictive models, performance metrics, and data reports.

Technical scope

The role involves building industry-level validation and testing models, using data science techniques such as quality control, simulation, and predictive modeling. You will contribute to solutions that improve network design and performance, support new provider offerings, and strengthen healthcare analytics capabilities.

Requirements

The employer is seeking a master’s degree, or an equivalent foreign credential, in Science or a closely related discipline. In addition, you must have completed a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis covering each of the following areas:

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or DevOps practices
• Programming in Java, Python, or Node.js
• Working with Hadoop, R, or Python
• MySQL
• SAS
• SQL
• Machine learning
• Statistical analysis
• Predictive modeling
• NLP tools such as Scikit-Learn, SpaCy, PyTorch, or Spark NLP
• Contributing to large-scale application development, data science, or data analytics initiatives
• Performing data analytics on large datasets in healthcare, business, or retail
• Designing data architectures, including data pipelines, distributed computing engines, and machine learning infrastructure

Work arrangement

Telecommuting is available for this position, though the job itself is listed in New York, NY.

Compensation and benefits

The base pay range for this role is $111,240 to $222,480 per year. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. In addition to base pay, the position may be eligible for a bonus, commission, short-term incentive program, and an equity award target.
