About the role
CodeVertex Talent is looking for a Data Entry Typist to help keep records accurate, files well organized, and operational information up to date for internal business use. The position focuses on dependable remote support for data upkeep, documentation quality, and orderly workflow handling.
Responsibilities
- Input new information, revise existing records, and keep data current in internal systems, spreadsheets, and workflow tools.
- Check submitted details for completeness, correct formatting, duplicate entries, and basic consistency.
- Manage digital files and maintain documents in line with internal process requirements.
- Share status updates, missing details, and exceptions clearly with team leads.
- Safeguard customer, applicant, business, and operational data by maintaining strict confidentiality.
Required qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail along with strong communication, organization, and dependability.
- Comfort working remotely with initiative and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to operate effectively in a structured company setting.
- Capability to handle documentation, records, systems, or operational work with accuracy.
- Willingness to follow established procedures and solve routine issues as they arise.
Preferred qualifications
- Background supporting remote teams or documentation-focused processes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with common workplace tools such as spreadsheets, email, calendars, CRM, ATS, ticketing, or reporting platforms, depending on the role.
- Ability to maintain accuracy across repetitive tasks and internal systems.
