Role overview

DSV is seeking a Customer Service Agent in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support freight operations with a strong focus on service quality, accurate documentation, and efficient shipment handling. The position centers on keeping freight activities organized and ensuring a smooth experience for both current and prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistently high-quality customer support across all interactions with DSV clients.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors to align on DSV operating procedures and keep clients informed about arrival schedules, delays, and transit-related issues.
• Handle internal and external communication in a timely, professional, and effective manner using the most suitable channel.
• Prepare routing information, follow up with the origin point, and keep customers updated throughout each stage until freight reaches Saudi Arabia.
• Maintain the tracking sheet with shipment status and share daily updates with customers.
• Negotiate carrier pricing and keep the export rate sheet updated in SharePoint.
• Create jobs in CW1 for all export shipments.
• Prepare quotations for agents and customers for export inquiries.
• Track, report, coordinate, and liaise with customers, carriers, and vendors as needed.
• Provide regular progress updates to the line manager.
• Carry out additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor to support business needs.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in freight operations is required.
