About the Role

Treasure Chest Casino is looking for a dependable Custodian to support the facilities team in Kenner, Louisiana. The position focuses on keeping shared spaces clean, safe, and pleasant for both team members and guests through routine cleaning and light maintenance work.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out scheduled cleaning work such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting assigned areas.
• Remove waste from bins and handle disposal in the proper manner.
• Clean, restock, and maintain restroom areas.
• Track cleaning materials and equipment, and keep supplies organized.
• Notify the right team members about maintenance concerns or safety risks.
• Handle simple maintenance duties when required.
• Work according to established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Respond quickly to spills, cleaning emergencies, and special cleanup needs.
• Make sure cleaning work meets sanitation and safety expectations.
• Help arrange and clear furniture for events when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to remain on your feet, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds during the shift.
• Working knowledge of cleaning tools, products, and proper sanitizing methods.
• Careful attention to detail and a strong focus on doing quality work.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Comfort working independently or with others.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Dependable transportation to the work location.
• Willingness to work different shifts as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior custodial work is an advantage.
• Ability to follow written instructions and spoken directions.
• Consistent reliability and a solid work ethic.
