Role Overview
This is a full-time second-shift custodian role at Caesar Rodney High School in Wyoming, Delaware. The position supports the cleanliness, upkeep, and day-to-day readiness of the school building and surrounding areas.
Key Duties
- Carry out indoor and outdoor custodial tasks to keep the school environment clean and functional.
- Perform deep cleaning of areas used by students and staff.
- Handle routine maintenance and care of custodial equipment.
- Assist with snow removal during periods of inclement weather.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with the broader school team.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders as part of regular duties.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to complete tasks indoors and outdoors.
- Flexibility for schedule adjustments based on the building principal’s operational needs.
