About the role

Sunfire is hiring a Curriculum Developer to shape learning experiences for a technical environment in Dresden. In this role, you will identify learning needs, design structured learning paths, and create effective training content that helps different audiences build knowledge and skills.

What you will do

  • Assess learning requirements for different target groups and translate them into clear learning objectives in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Design learning materials, course content, and complete learning journeys using modern curriculum development methods.
  • Create engaging formats such as exercises, role plays, and simulations that improve participation and knowledge retention.
  • Use digital tools and a variety of media to make training content accessible, varied, and effective.
  • Develop assessments and evaluation tools, measure learning outcomes, and refine content based on the results.
  • Adapt learning materials into different delivery formats, including converting in-person training into blended learning concepts.
  • Work closely with project teams, engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts to ensure content quality.
  • Maintain project documentation, course materials, and training versions in a reliable and organized way.
  • Establish standards, processes, and best practices for learning design so documentation remains consistent and scalable across projects and audience groups.

What we are looking for

You should have a completed degree or an equivalent qualification, ideally with a focus on learning design, curriculum development, or didactics. Prior experience in plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or another technical setting is preferred, along with familiarity using EdTech tools and building complex learning paths in technical subjects. You should work in a dependable, structured manner, take ownership of your tasks, communicate clearly, and stay organized even when dealing with complex situations. Fluency in both German and English is required.
