Role Overview
This contract role is for a Credit Analyst based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, within the banking sector. The position focuses on managing credit memos end to end and maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and alignment across the organization. Strong English communication is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete lifecycle of credit memos, making sure they remain consistent, accurate, and aligned with internal processes.
- Draft detailed credit memos that capture borrower background, financial results, key risk considerations, and clear recommendations.
- Examine and validate credit-related documents to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with both regulatory and internal requirements.
- Assess financial statements and related records to support covenant monitoring and provide financial updates to the credit function.
- Meet turnaround-time commitments under the service level agreement while lowering rework and process errors to the required threshold.
- Ensure that policy-related errors are avoided and service quality expectations are consistently met.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Risk teams, and Operations teams to keep credit memo processing smooth and resolve queries efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Associate Degree qualification.
- Industry background in banking.
- Strong command of English.
- Ability to review financial data, prepare credit documentation, and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
