The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Planning Coordinator to join the team in Perth on an 8:6 roster. This position offers the chance to support both planning and mobilisation activities for expanding site teams, playing a hands-on part in shutdown delivery from preparation through to execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify job needs such as labour, training, timing, and equipment requirements.
  • Spot possible gaps in planning and relay them to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with Recruitment to meet resourcing demands using internal planning tools.
  • Submit purchase requisitions through the company’s purchasing systems.
  • Keep the Job Tracker updated with key planning milestones and personnel requirements.
  • Escalate major changes in scope or resourcing to the Resource Planning Manager for approval.
  • Review incoming work and coordinate with stakeholders to confirm available Warrikal resources.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation in line with company travel policies.
  • Prepare and circulate labour lists within client deadlines.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to client queries.
  • Communicate schedule details to personnel through internal systems.
  • Track daily arrivals and departures accurately and on time.
  • Encourage personnel to use the Warrikal Web App.

What We’re Looking For

  • You must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
  • You should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in the resources sector.
  • You’ll need confidence using training, mobilisation, or planning platforms such as ERMS, SuccessFactors, and INX.
  • Experience with workforce or planning systems like OPMS, IFS, or SAP will be an advantage.
  • You should bring a strong team mindset, a solid work ethic, and the flexibility to adapt in changing environments.
  • You must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving setting.
  • Strong organisation is essential for managing mobilisation requirements effectively.
  • You’ll need to build and maintain professional relationships with personnel and stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay rates.
  • A workplace that supports your development and values your contribution.
  • The opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who are invested in your success.
  • Scope to build skills that can lead to better-paid roles.
  • Ongoing recognition, rewards, and professional growth opportunities.
