About the role

Peoples Automotive Group in Edinburgh is looking for a short-form content creator who genuinely understands TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. This role is ideal for someone who already spends time spotting trends, reacting to viral sounds, thinking about hooks and imagining how brand content could be sharper, faster and more engaging.

The position is hands-on and camera-facing rather than office-based. You’ll be expected to help build a fresh online presence by appearing in content, developing ideas and producing short videos that feel current, relevant and worth watching.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and shoot original short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Act as the on-screen talent for recurring social content across those platforms.
  • Own the process of storytelling through video, including idea generation, scripting and filming, with support from the wider team when needed.
  • Partner with the marketing function to ensure video output supports campaigns, promotional offers, new product launches and showroom events.
  • Contribute ideas and help maintain a steady weekly content cadence.
  • Keep track of memes, trends, formats and audio that can make content more discoverable and relevant.
  • Transform product features, offers, common questions and customer experiences into engaging social posts.
