Role Overview
The organization is hiring a Construction Site Inspector in Singapore to monitor works around sewer infrastructure and ensure construction activity remains compliant and safe.
Key Duties
- Identify manholes and sewer lines within construction areas, and capture photos of the site and related equipment.
- Take measurements where construction work is close to sewer corridors.
- Work with project managers, engineers, or property owners to obtain the necessary drawings and approvals.
- Examine manholes and sewer chambers for blocked flow, debris buildup, or any unauthorized discharge.
- Watch for unapproved activity, temporary toilet setups, or illegal sewer tie-ins.
- Escalate any breaches immediately to the WRN officer in charge.
- Record all observations with color photographs, including manhole identifiers and sewer flow directions.
- Prepare and submit a weekly inspection summary together with checklists and photo evidence.
Requirements
- A diploma in civil engineering or another construction-related discipline is required.
- Candidates must have their own vehicle and be Singapore residents.
- Prior experience in construction-related work is necessary.
