Commissioning Engineer (Onshore & Offshore)

Role Overview

The company is looking for a Commissioning Engineer with deep experience across onshore and offshore oil and gas environments. The position focuses on preparing, executing, and closing out pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities in EPC projects and operating facilities.

Experience and Technical Scope

The role requires 13 to 16 years of experience in oil and gas EPC projects as well as operating plants, covering both onshore and offshore settings. The engineer should bring hands-on exposure to multiple disciplines, including process and static equipment, compressors, PLC and control systems, fire and gas systems, UPS, HVAC, and switchgear equipment.

Core Responsibilities

The selected professional will be expected to manage commissioning work from readiness through mechanical completion and handover to the facility team. This includes developing and using commissioning procedures, method statements, schedules, and performance test plans, along with compiling the required turnover dossiers.

Systems and Methodology

Strong working knowledge of OPERCOM methodology and completion tracking platforms such as ICAPS and WinPCS is essential. The engineer must be able to coordinate completion workflows and support structured handover processes.

Coordination and Leadership

The position calls for effective collaboration with EPC teams, vendors, and clients, along with strong communication skills and a clear commitment to HSSE leadership during all commissioning phases.
