Role overview
Flywire is hiring a Client Relationship Manager for its education business in Australia and New Zealand. The role is focused on strengthening partnerships with client institutions, expanding account value, improving retention, and uncovering growth opportunities. You will work closely with sales, relationship management, legal, compliance, product, vertical teams and solutions teams to deliver a strong payment experience for clients and their students.
What you will do
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with senior and operational stakeholders while understanding their priorities, strategy and business goals.
- Lead onboarding, marketing, training and support efforts that help grow adoption, increase usage and generate additional revenue through upsells and value-added services.
- Present products and services in a clear, informative and consultative way.
- Coordinate integration projects with solutions teams to help clients adopt technical workflows and payment processes.
- Create strategic account plans for individual clients and account groups to improve utilisation, growth and revenue.
- Handle commercial account work including internal reporting, contract renewals, pricing discussions and expansion into new products.
- Act as the internal subject-matter expert for your portfolio and market, including awareness of relevant payment products and competitors.
- Work across departments and time zones with legal, compliance, product and vertical teams to solve client payment issues.
- Keep CRM records accurate and current so information is available on time.
- Track, report and review utilisation, payers and revenue performance.
- Respond to escalations with appropriate attention and urgency.
- Run regular reviews with the customer success team to maintain product and service satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing training and manage supporting materials for relevant client departments.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in account management or client success.
- Strong background in international higher education, education management or payments is preferred.
- Comfort working with remote teams and engaging stakeholders across locations.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% to 25% of the time.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong presentation ability, including the confidence to speak with senior executives.
- High attention to detail, along with strong time management and organisation skills.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and planning skills in a multicultural setting.
- Strong problem-solving and project management ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative to engage internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management or an equivalent field.
