The Role
This position is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned spaces in line with established company methods and client quality and safety standards. The job may involve regular contact with clients.
Key Duties
- Clear, wash, and wipe waste containers, and transport trash, paper waste, and rubbish to the proper disposal locations.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, sweep or dust-mop hard flooring, and spot-clean or damp-mop spills in offices, lobbies, hallways, stairways, and shared areas.
- Dust and clean furniture, filing cabinets, fixtures, wall paneling, windowsills, air vents, grilles, and other flat surfaces.
- Remove fingerprints and marks from doors, doorframes, switches, glass entry panels, partitions, and other vertical surfaces.
- Maintain the janitor’s closet in a tidy, organized, and clean condition.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Profile
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Good problem-solving capability.
- Effective time management skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, or an equivalent background.
