The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a dependable and enthusiastic cleaner to work at a retail location in Mount Austin, New South Wales. The role suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

This is a part-time onsite role with the following roster:

• Monday: 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Friday: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The role is remunerated according to the relevant award rates.

Key Duties

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Clean upholstery and other furnishings as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Clean internal and external glass surfaces.
• Dust hard surfaces throughout the site.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring commercial cleaning experience, ideally gained in a professional environment. You should also be comfortable working as part of a team, able to follow instructions, and capable of working independently when required.

Strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, reliability, punctuality, and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices are important for success in this role.

You should also be willing to work flexible hours and public holidays when needed. Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.
