Civil Engineer

Job Summary

This role supports the planning, design, development, and supervision of civil works and infrastructure projects. The work covers assets such as roads, bridges, buildings, airports, water supply networks, and other public infrastructure. The purpose of the role is to help deliver projects that are safe, sustainable, economical, and aligned with the required regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs and infrastructure solutions.
• Create calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and project reports.
• Carry out site checks and feasibility assessments.
• Examine plans to confirm compliance with applicable codes, rules, and safety requirements.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and project resources.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, survey teams, and relevant authorities.
• Track construction work and monitor overall project advancement.
• Evaluate structures and materials to maintain quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot engineering and construction challenges as they arise.
• Compile documentation and technical records for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Professional engineering license or certification.
• Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or similar software.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and project coordination skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
