Catering Attendant

About the Role

Join the Perth Airport team in a permanent full-time Catering Attendant position with dnata catering & retail, Australia’s leading partner for inflight catering and retail. This is an opportunity to work with a global, award-winning market leader that supports some of the world’s top airlines.

As part of the operation, you’ll help prepare flights for service by handling meal presentation, assembling trays, stocking carts, and keeping equipment clean and flight-ready. Your work directly contributes to a smooth, well-organised onboard dining experience for travellers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare, portion, and arrange meals according to visual presentation standards.
• Build airline meal trays to the required specifications and place them into carts.
• Restock carts with packaged food, drinks, and necessary equipment.
• Load and unload dishwashers with crockery, cutlery, and glassware, then check that items are clean and in excellent condition.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI requirements.
• Work closely with teammates to help meet scheduled delivery times.

What You Need

• A clear National Police Check.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Good numeracy skills for documentation and reporting.
• The ability to stand for long periods and safely move or lift items.
• Willingness to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
• Availability for 38 hours per week in a permanent full-time role.
• A neat appearance with a strong focus on hygiene and presentation.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knife skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information
