Job Description

Rotana Hotels is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance professionals to join their team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. This role involves performing daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, including fixing shelving, cabinets, doors, windows, and partitions. You will also be tasked with removing and replacing damaged sections, finishing woodwork, and patching plaster or drywall. All work must adhere to national technical regulations and safety standards.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a high school qualification and extensive knowledge of carpentry, building maintenance, and workplace safety procedures, including safe lifting and handling. Proficiency in English and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues are essential. You should be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key competencies include understanding the job, recognizing differences, customer focus, teamwork, adaptability, and taking responsibility.
