Role overview
Caremark Maidstone is seeking compassionate people to join its team as Care Assistants in Maidstone and nearby areas. This is a part-time, on-site position for someone who wants work that genuinely helps others and supports them to live more independently.
As a care worker, you will help customers with everyday routines, encourage independence, and provide practical and emotional support throughout the day.
Main duties
- Assist with washing and dressing
- Support shopping trips and meal preparation
- Prompt customers to take medication when required
- Help people manage their regular daily routines
- Provide companionship visits
- Support leisure and social activities
- Help customers get out into the community

Pay and benefits
Starting pay is £11 per hour. Weekday work is paid at £11/hour, with an increased rate of £12/hour after 7pm. Weekend shifts are paid at £12/hour, rising to £13/hour after 7pm.
Additional benefits include paid travel time between homes, mileage paid at 30p per mile, support toward public transport costs, a free MOT offer on request, paid holiday, flexible hours, a company pension, a referral scheme, and a store discount card.
