Role overview
This Auckland-based position is for a driven business development professional who can pair classic sales capability with AI-enabled tools to work more efficiently, stay focused, and improve results. The ideal person is a true hunter, comfortable with challenger-style selling and interested in how AI can sharpen outreach and follow-up.
What you'll do
- Create fresh business opportunities across New Zealand and Australia.
- Approach prospects in sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, construction, food processing, and other operational settings.
- Engage with business owners, safety leaders, operations managers, and site leaders.
- Use AI-supported tools to research target companies, map key decision-makers, prepare outreach, and strengthen follow-up activity.
- Convert market insight, sales instinct, and consistent activity into a healthy pipeline.
- Learn to position seeo as a practical solution for safety, workflow improvements, and operational visibility.
- Work alongside internal technical and leadership teams to help turn leads into lasting customer relationships.
What the company is looking for
- Solid sales background, preferably in B2B, technology, industrial, safety, operational, or service-led environments.
- Confidence in prospecting and generating opportunities through cold outreach.
- Ability to establish trust quickly and hold informed conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement and the discipline to keep a pipeline moving.
- Openness to using AI tools for research, outreach, planning, productivity, and sales effectiveness.
- Resilience, self-drive, and persistence when sales cycles are longer than expected.
- A full, clean driver licence and readiness to travel.
