This internship offers a unique chance to contribute to the expansion of a platform revolutionizing carpooling within trusted residential communities. Amid India's push for carpooling to address fuel shortages, this role aligns with a larger societal goal and provides hands-on experience shaping a pioneering business model founded on trust in neighbors.
Role and Responsibilities
- Engage with residential welfare associations (RWAs), residents, and community leaders to onboard societies onto the Society Rides platform.
- Facilitate initial ride sharing activity within communities to activate network effects.
- Operate more as a community organizer than a traditional salesperson by maintaining person-to-person communications—whether face-to-face, via WhatsApp, or at RWA meetings.
- Contribute to a founder-led user registration process, assisting societies in becoming fully functional members of the network.
Compensation and Incentives
You can earn ₹5,000 per society by achieving these milestones:
- ₹1,000 upon founder registration and approval
- ₹1,500 once the society reaches 50 members
- ₹1,500 upon 50 completed rides in the society
- ₹1,000 if the society remains active after three months
No earnings cap applies, so managing multiple societies multiplies your income potential. Stipend ranges from ₹10,000 up to ₹40,000 monthly, split between fixed and incentive components.
