Role overview
The Business Development Executive will help expand the sales pipeline by spotting new opportunities, qualifying potential customers, and supporting the early stages of the sales process. This position centers on outbound prospecting, lead evaluation, and first-touch engagement, along with keeping CRM data current and passing strong opportunities to the Account Executives team.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to prospects through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and similar channels to create fresh business opportunities.
- Assess incoming and outbound leads against set business criteria and customer requirements.
- Arrange discovery discussions and meetings for Account Executives with qualified prospects.
- Keep CRM entries accurate and up to date, including activities, leads, and opportunity details.
- Study target accounts, relevant industries, and key decision-makers to improve prospecting efforts.
- Maintain regular follow-up with potential customers to keep engagement active and pipeline movement steady.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams on lead-generation initiatives and pipeline-building efforts.
- Consistently hit or surpass activity goals and pipeline contribution targets.
- Build a solid understanding of Monty Mobile’s offerings to present value propositions clearly and convincingly.
- Share observations on lead quality, market shifts, and customer needs with the sales team, and pass qualified leads to Account Managers for continued follow-up and business growth.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, customer service, or business development.
- Exposure to CRM systems and sales tools will be considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of B2B sales cycles and customer engagement methods.
- Prior experience with SaaS, CPaaS, or enterprise software products is preferred.
- Professional fluency in the local language and English.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and results-oriented approach.
- Well-organized with good time management skills.
- Comfortable collaborating in a team and eager to learn and develop.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-moving work environment.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation preparation.
- Understanding of lead generation methods and prospecting practices.
