Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst for a fast-scaling robotics company that uses AI and automation to improve operations. The company handles large volumes of machine-generated operational data and needs someone who can convert that information into practical business insights and executive-level recommendations.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for candidates based in the US, Canada, or LATAM. The ideal person may be a BI Analyst or a Data Engineer with strong business intelligence experience who can connect technical data work with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large data sets housed in AWS-based environments and data lakes.
• Develop dashboards and reporting views in Grafana.
• Turn operational and analytical data into clear business stories, including ROI-focused insights.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Prepare presentations and reports tailored for senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
• Support measurement of outcomes such as efficiency improvements, return on investment, food waste reduction, and overall operational performance.

Required Experience and Skills

• Hands-on experience in BI, analytics, and reporting.
• Ability to link data findings to business goals and decision-making.
• Experience working with AWS data environments and dashboarding platforms; Grafana experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present clearly.
• Comfort interacting with customers and executive audiences.
• Capability to analyze complex data and turn it into usable recommendations.

Preferred Background

• Experience in data engineering is an advantage.
• Exposure to restaurant, retail, robotics, or operations analytics is a plus.

Location and Engagement

This role is remote and open to candidates located in the US, Canada, or LATAM. It is structured as a contract-to-hire position.
