Qualifications

  • Practical understanding of safe and efficient motor vehicle operation.
  • Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules.
  • Valid Class F driver’s licence.
  • At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean driving history, with no driving conviction in the past 15 years.
  • Ability to operate lift equipment and secure wheelchairs and mobility devices correctly.
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, sit, and stand for long periods, and to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong people skills and comfort working with older adults.
  • Current CPR and first aid certification.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
