The function also contributes to risk management, financial stewardship, compliance, and the group’s long-term value creation goals.
Role Overview
The Lead - Brand & Social will shape and execute advanced brand plans, direct high-value campaigns, safeguard corporate identity, and strengthen brand equity through digital branding, content innovation, and insight-led decision-making.
Brand Strategy and Planning
In this role, you will define and drive sophisticated branding approaches aligned with business priorities. The work involves detailed market research, brand positioning analysis, and competitor benchmarking to build campaigns for varied audience groups.
You will also coordinate cross-channel brand initiatives across both traditional and digital platforms, while planning budgets, allocating resources, and setting milestone targets for important campaigns.
Content Ecosystem Development
You will design a strong content environment across multiple formats, including video, infographics, and long-form editorial content. A key part of the role is guiding teams to create stories that connect with target audiences while remaining consistent with the company’s brand voice.
Content must also meet current standards for accessibility, search optimization, and audience engagement, with an emphasis on introducing fresh ways to present information and improve interaction.
Social Media and Digital Brand Governance
The position requires ownership of the strategic plan for corporate social media activity, including platform choices, content themes, and annual calendar design. You will review and monitor major campaigns that carry significant investment or reputational impact.
You will establish performance indicators for social platforms and track results using tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite. The role also includes exploring newer branding channels such as metaverse experiences and AR/VR-led engagement.
Analytics and Brand Insights
You will lead efforts to convert multi-channel branding data into practical insights by using tools such as Tableau and advanced CRM analytics. This includes studying audience behavior, preferences, and patterns to refine ongoing initiatives.
Insights and recommendations will need to be presented to senior leadership in a clear, evidence-based manner so that brand and outreach decisions are supported by up-to-date analytics.
Campaign Leadership
This role involves leading high-visibility initiatives such as rebranding programs, merger and acquisition communication, and crisis response campaigns. You will develop the strategic framework and oversee delivery to ensure meaningful results.
You will also use project management platforms such as Asana or Jira to manage timelines, resources, tasks, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Brand Consistency and Governance
You will serve as the final decision-maker on brand guidelines and their application, resolving any ambiguity or disagreement in how the brand is represented across communications.
Another important responsibility is ensuring that external agencies and vendors follow internal identity standards and reflect the organization’s values in all output.
