About the Role
A leading bank is looking for a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations in Mumbai. The position focuses on managing people, maintaining banking controls, supporting growth, and ensuring strong customer service and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare branch-level financial statements and carry out related analysis.
- Lead and supervise branch employees, including daily coordination and performance oversight.
- Maintain banking procedures, controls, and operational processes across the branch.
- Handle recruitment activities such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring new staff.
- Review and oversee approvals for loans, credit lines, and other financial arrangements.
- Support customer service efforts and work toward high customer satisfaction.
- Promote the branch in the local community to help attract new business.
- Collect, review, and research financial data for reporting and analysis.
- Monitor budget reports, assist in budget preparation, and evaluate budget performance.
- Interpret complex financial information for clients and provide guidance where needed.
- Advise on financial management practices and help shape internal procedures and policies.
- Manage financial reporting for tax authorities, regulators, and other relevant bodies.
- Forecast branch needs and plan accordingly to support fiscal goals.
- Contribute to increasing the number of bank accounts and overall branch growth.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to any graduate.
Compensation
The advertised pay range is INR 10,00,000 to INR 20,00,000 per year.
