Technical duties

The role involves performing non-invasive vascular investigations and related diagnostic procedures, including the following:

  • Maintain and care for equipment used in the Vascular Department

  • Be available at the times and locations set by the hospital and remain on duty for as long as required
  • Carry out the duties of a Basic Grade Vascular Physiologist within the hospital and at other locations as directed by the Director of Scheduled Care
  • Maintain appropriate records related to the post
  • Take on other duties suitable to the role as assigned by the hospital
  • Stay familiar with the techniques, equipment, and procedures used in modern vascular diagnosis, treatment, and patient care, with the ability to make precise measurements being essential
