Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Barista position in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The person in this role will prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, gelato, and other menu offerings in line with company recipes and quality standards. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, responding to product-related questions, and delivering attentive, friendly service throughout the visit.

Key Duties

• Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, gelato, and related menu items according to set recipes and standards.
• Welcome customers, record orders accurately, and respond to menu or product queries.
• Provide courteous, efficient service that helps create a positive guest experience.
• Process cash and digital transactions using registers or POS systems.
• Keep the workstation tidy, organized, and stocked with required supplies.
• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene practices at all times.
• Coordinate with teammates during rush periods to keep service running smoothly.
• Support opening and closing routines as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have practical coffee and beverage preparation ability, along with basic food preparation knowledge. A strong customer-first approach, clear communication, and good interpersonal skills are important for working with guests and colleagues. The job requires the ability to remain on one’s feet for long periods, cope with busy service times, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards. Experience in a café, coffee shop, or other food service setting is an advantage but not mandatory. Applicants should also be open to flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, and should be comfortable with basic arithmetic and handling cash registers or POS systems. Reliability, punctuality, and a neat professional appearance are expected.
