About the Role

Starbucks is looking for a part-time barista for Store #80972 at 8985 Commercial St. in New Minas, Nova Scotia. In this role, you will help deliver the Starbucks Experience by providing friendly service, preparing drinks and food to standard, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and partners alike.

What You’ll Do

• Create a positive customer experience through attentive, pleasant service.
• Prepare beverages and food items according to standard recipes, including customized requests and changes to ingredients, temperature, or quantity.
• Handle cash and support store safety and security practices.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Work with different store tasks throughout each shift as needed.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and respond clearly and professionally.

Experience and Qualifications

• No prior experience is needed.
• You should be available for flexible scheduling, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality are expected, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• You must be able to follow store policies and standards while delivering quality beverages and food products.
• You should be able to carry out oral and written instructions and ask for clarification when necessary.
• You should be able to learn quickly and contribute as part of a team.
