This role is part of the food and beverage and culinary team in a hotel setting. The position supports banquet and guest-service operations by helping create a smooth, memorable dining experience for guests. The job is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time, non-management role on site.
What the role involves
The position is centered on delivering attentive guest service during meals and events. Work may include setting up tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving guests, handling guest interactions, and keeping service areas and supplies clean and organized. The goal is to make each guest interaction feel seamless and part of the overall experience.
Success in this role also depends on maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style at all times. The work is active and physically demanding, with extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, including movement across uneven or slippery surfaces. The role also requires reading and checking menu details carefully and handling objects up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance, along with bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, and stooping as needed.
Preferred qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED. Related work experience of less than 1 year is preferred. No supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is needed.
