Role overview
An opportunity is open in Doha, Qatar for an AutoCAD Draftsman to support Security and ELV projects. The role focuses on producing precise technical drawings and keeping design documentation aligned with project needs.
What you will do
- Create detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for Security and ELV works.
- Draft technical documents for CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling systems.
- Study project specifications and translate design inputs into clear, organized technical drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to make sure drawings match scope and deadlines.
- Update and refine drawings to reflect site conditions, design revisions, and client feedback.
- Keep documentation in order and ensure all drawings follow company and industry standards.
Requirements
- Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman in Security, ELV, MEP, or similar projects.
- Hands-on skill in AutoCAD and solid drafting knowledge are essential.
- A practical understanding of security and ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and structured cabling, is required.
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation accurately is important.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform well under tight timelines are necessary.
- Gulf experience would be a plus.
