STEMpedia is a well-known experiential learning platform focused on helping schools and educational institutions build an environment that encourages learning, creativity, and innovation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, STEM, and Robotics. Through hands-on, real-world DIY projects, the company helps children aged 7+ grasp complex AI and robotics ideas in a simple, engaging way.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Graphic Designer for varied creative assignments across print and digital media. This role calls for solid strength in vector-based design and visual communication to support the creation of innovative graphics for STEMpedia’s new physical and digital products. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with Product, LMS, Marketing, and Production teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Create visual assets for print materials such as product packaging, manuals, arenas, and custom creative skins.
- Develop graphics for social media, mobile app interfaces, software interfaces, and other digital or promotional channels.
- Produce offline marketing and business-development collateral including pamphlets, brochures, posters, standees, and catalogues.
- Generate fresh design ideas and translate them into layouts, graphics, and concepts.
- Prepare initial design drafts and present them for review.
- Refine approved drafts into final layouts and complete the execution-ready output.
- Take on additional reasonable tasks as needed to support delivery of assigned responsibilities.
Skills and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Design or a related background is preferred.
- At least internship-level exposure in a design role is preferred.
- Sound understanding of design principles, tools, and production techniques.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating vector artwork, raster/vector illustrations, and page or typesetting work.
- Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Basic familiarity with multimedia content creation and website design is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver within deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- A curiosity-driven, learning-oriented mindset.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Experience expected: 0 to 1 year.
